  1. Cable & Wireless plc, through its subsidiary Cable & Wireless Jamaica (C&WJ), recently donated 23 multimedia computers and software to twenty three educational institutions, including primary schools and non-government skills training entities. The presentation was made at C&WJ’s Corporate Office in Kingston by the company’s Senior Vice President for Engineering, Hugh Cross. This is the second batch of computers donated by Cable & Wireless in recent months. Late last year the company presented 28 computers to primary schools through the Ministry of Education’s EDUNET programme.

  2. Lasco Foods has joined the online e-commerce family with thier new site. The site is quite tastefully done and includes the complete line of products as well as recipes. The launching of the site was held in April and was attended by the Minister of Commerce Hon. Phillip Paulwell.

  3. There are two new travel sites online with an interest in Jamaica. First there is Tours To Go, which is a multi-destination Website, offering vacations all over the globe. The second is Ochie.com. Here you will find all the information on Ocho Rios, from it's history to new developments.
